It rains here, but let’s not let that stop us.

Challenging weather plan.

We will continue to meet in person unless the weather is dangerous. One bonus about the rain is that trails and parks are often more secluded and offer a quiet place to reflect. I will let you know in advance if we need to cancel to due dangerous weather such as hazardous smoke, high winds, ice, etc.

What we can bring to stay warm and dry.

Me - I will have an umbrella and a portable stool for both of us. I also bring a tarp to set up as an extra rain shelter if we need it.

You - Please wear a rain coat; you may want to consider rain pants depending on the length and format of your session. If you are starting therapy during a colder part of the year, we can have a conversation in advance of our session to discuss what layers will help keep you warm. Recommendations include:

  • Wool socks

  • Boots instead of shoes

  • 2 layers on the bottom. For example: jeans + long underwear or spandex.

  • 3 layers on top. For example: Long sleeve shirt, sweatshirt or fleece, and thick coat or puffy jacket.

  • Hat, gloves, scarf

  • Rain gear

  • Blanket if desired
